The socket is a standard 3-connector socket and
easily replaceable. The figure above shows how it
must be wired up (see wiring diagram) so the
brights will come on when you want them to.
The tilt angle of the light is adjusted by turning 2 1/4-28 screws which fit into small nylon retaining nuts. Needless to say, these plastic parts did not survive the fire. I easily made 2 more from a scrap piece of PVC pipe.
