


The Chevy uses a single barrel Rochester
carburetor, with a cleanable “air breather” (which
distinguishes it from the earlier models, which
used an “oil breather.”)
I removed the carburetor by removing the nuts from the manifold bolts, the fuel line, the wiper vacuum takeoff, the vacuum advance, and the accelerator linkage.
