There is nothing particularly challenging about
rebuilding any carburetor--there's just a LOT of
it!. accept that there are lots of little steps.
Here is the carburetor after taking it off of the
engine.
20 years ago, the Chevy got towed by the city of Sunnyvale, Ca. The tow company took disconnected the accelerator from the carburetor, and lost the attachment hardware. At the tow storage lot, I found this piece of wire on the ground, and used it—it has served it's purpose ever since.

Note the position of the fast-idle cam. This will
have to be put back the same way when I reassemble
the carburetor.
