The king pins on both sides had a lot of play, so I
opted to replace them as well. To remove a king
pin, I first removed the lock pin which was held on
with a nut. Next, I removed the upper lock rings,
and the 4 bolts which hold the hub on—heads on the
hub side. The bottom two bolts use cotter pins. The
top ones use lock washers on the nut side. The
bottom 2 use flat washers on the head side, but top
two use spacers on the nut side, between the
knuckle housing and the hub.
