Step 4 is to remove the choke. We start by taking
out the screws holding the butterfly (choke valve)
in place, and removing the butterfly. We also have
to remove the screw on the end, and pry off the
tab.
Next, we remove the 3 screws and clamps holding the
mixture adjustment in place. We pry it off and
remove the spring. Note that when I parked the
Chevy, the mixture was set at 3.5 marks CW past
vertical. This may change, however, if the tension
in the internal spring has changed due to the heat.
